London's accommodation includes self-catering flats, home stay agencies, student halls of residence, bed and breakfasts and a wide range of hotels. The establishments in this section are all members of the London Tourist Board.

Serviced Accommodation includes hotels, bed & breakfast, guest houses, motels, inns and accommodation in private homes. 

Hotels
are assessed under the English Tourism Council's Quality Assurance Scheme. This rating system is based on the quality and range of facilities and services. Hotels are rated form one to five Stars , the higher the quality the greater the provision of facilities and services.

Bed and Breakfasts
are assessed under the the English Tourism Council's Quality Assurance Scheme for Guests Accommodation. This rating system emphasizes quality; areas such as cleanliness, service and hospitality, bedrooms, bathrooms and food quality are assessed for quality and combine to give a rating from one to five diamonds.

Self Catering Accommodation includes self catering and serviced apartments and apart hotels. 

Self-catering
The new star ratings reflect the quality of accommodation. All properties have met certain minimum requirements and are rated from one to five Stars . The more Stars the higher the overall level of quality and the greater the provision of facilities.

Budget and Student Accommodation includes hostels, university accommodation and budget hotels. Only available on request
