Hever Castle

Hever Castle  was the childhood home of Anne Boleyn, second wife of Henry VIII. The castle was acquired by William Waldorf Astor in 1903 who invested time, money and imagination in restoring the building to its former glory and creating the magnificent award winning gardens, the long herbaceous border, the Rose and Tudor gardens, the yew maze and the 35 acre lake.
